Perfectly Copy()

The function is powerful. It has several function:

1. The row height and column width of target area is same to origin area.

2. It has resolved the copy problem between asymmetric merged cell. You can split merged cell in the target area or treat it as a single cell.

3. It has resolved the problem of multi-areas can't be copy.

4. It can skip blank cell and blank value cell (include the value of formula returned is blank).

5. It can skip hidden or filtered cells.

6. It can paste to down or right several times, it is useful to paste some fix format quantity. Instance paste one full page several times.

The dialog-box as follow picture:

"Skip empty" and "Skip blank", the difference is: If there has a formula but the retrun is blank string,then "Skip empty" would not skip it the formula in the cell would be copy to target. But "Skip blank" can skip it whether it has formula in the cell.

It lists all case of different deal with way and copy modes. You can choose it by yourself in conditions:

Want to copy the data in the range B12:D14 to the range A7:L9, you can pick up "As one cell" in "How to deal with merged cell of target area?" and pick up "Just value" in "Copy mode".

 

 

¡îHow to copy cleverly between merged cells?

As the follow picture: Want to copy the data of the range B12:D14 to the range A6:L9 of the table. Because the cells are not math the targets for merged cell, Execl will warns "We can do that to merged cell" when you pastring. Have any good method?

 

Method one:

Use the function button "Perfectly Copy(" in the software "EXCEL speedUp Add-ins": "Perfectly Copy()"   The button is under EXECL menu: "Add-ins".

Click the button "Perfectly Copy()" popup the dialog-box as the follow: Selects "As one cell" in "How to deal with merged cell of target area?" and selects "Just value" in "Copy mode". Selects the range B12:D14 in "Copy range:", selects first cell of the target range as cell A7, click "OK", done.

¡îHow to copy a table with fixed format or a printed page in quantities?

Want to duplicates dozens a table designed and fill in different contents.In the normal mode we must reset column widths and row heights in the table to math the original table's.

Method one:

Use the function button "Perfectly Copy" in the software "EXCEL speedUp Add-ins": "Perfectly Copy()"  The button is under EXECL menu: "Add-ins".

 

As the follow picture, click the button "Perfectly Copy()" popup the dialog-box as the follow: Selects "Unmerge" in "How to deal with merged cell of target area?" and selects "With format(width&height)" in "Copy mode". Selects the range A1:C7 in "Copy range:", selects first cell of the target range as cell A8, Enter "2" in "Times:" as duplicate times the direction is "Down", click "OK", done.

Sometimes we want to print a table in a page that we can select blank rows below and copy it in volume mould it by once.

 

¡îHow to insert the data of cells in the table which had data?

Want to replace the values of serveral cells and keep the others. As the follow picture: Want to copy the values of cell A1, A3, B2 to the range D1:E4 get the result of the range G1:H4. Have any good way?

Method one:

Select the range A1:D4 and copy it. Right click in cell D1 and choose "Paste Special" in the menu popuped. Pick "Skip blanks" up in the dialog-box popuped, click "OK".

 

Method two:

Use the function button "Perfectly Copy" in the software "EXCEL speedUp Add-ins": "Perfectly Copy()"  , The button is under EXECL menu: "Add-ins".

click the button "Perfectly Copy()". Select the range want to copy and the first cell of the target range in the dialog-box popuped, pick up "Skip empty" or "Skip blank" in condtions. The difference between they is If there has a formula but the retrun is blank string, then "Skip empty" would not skip it, the formula in the cell would be copy to target. But "Skip blank" can skip it whether it has formula in the cell. Click "OK", done.

¡îHow to skip hidden or filtered cells in copying?

We always hide some columns in need, but it is useless in copying . We have to hide or delete again usual. Then have any good way?

Method one:

Use the function button "Perfectly Copy" in the software "EXCEL speedUp Add-ins": "Perfectly Copy()"  , The button is under EXECL menu: "Add-ins".

click the button "Perfectly Copy()". Select the range want to copy and the first cell of the target range in the dialog-box popuped, pick up "skip hidden or filtered cells". Click "OK", done.

Note: The filtered cells before version 2007 have same problem, you can solve is as well by this function.
